Consultations are by appointment only and you can book by ringing the surgery or calling in at reception. This practice is committed to giving you a routine appointment to see a doctor within 48 hours  during the normal working week.

You can also make appointments in advance to help you plan ahead for things such as follow-up consultations.

We also offer a number of emergency appointments of 5 minutes duration for one complaint ONLY for both our morning and evening sessions. These can only be booked on the day. 8am for the morning session and 2.00pm for the afternoon.

Please remember that an appointment is for one person only. If more than one member of the family needs to be seen please make separate appointments.

We are now open on a Saturday (pre-bookable appointments with a GP only) from 8-12pm.

Emergencies and Telephone Access

In the case of a medical emergency you can contact the surgery on the usual number and speak to the doctor on duty or the practice nurse. If the doctor is in consultation with a patient you may have to leave your details with the receptionist and the doctor will always get back to you. Please make sure you leave the telephone contact details (landline or mobile) where the doctor on call can get hold of you when they call back.

Whereas we always try to fast-track an emergency appointment on the same day, if none are available at the surgery you normally attend, you may be asked to attend one of our other subaby_nursergeries.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
